Following a stabbing at NBA YoungBoy’s home in 2020, the daughter of boxer Floyd Mayweather was sentenced to six years probation.
Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather pleaded convicted in April to stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, who had a kid with YoungBoy, in 2020.
She has now been sentenced for the assault, which required the victim to undergo surgery due to the severity of her injuries.
At the time of the stabbing, Yaya was 19 and Lapattra was 35-years-old.
It happened inside NBA YoungBoy’s home in Houston, Texas, following an argument that turned violent.
Both ladies had children with the rapper, who, at the age of 23, now has 11 children.
Mayweather was sentenced to six years probation and Deferred Adjudication of Guilt on Thursday, December 14.
YoungBoy did not respond directly to the reports, but he did tweet, “Hold it down for your love ones up in heaven and they will do the same I’m very blessed and protected if you ask me.”
YoungBoy has not yet addressed the sentencing issue.
