A Texas lady was accused of stabbing her boyfriend several times after he allegedly refused to assist her with home bills and other costs.
Cassandra Gutierrez, 30, stabbed her one-year partner on Thanksgiving Day after questioning him about his lack of contribution to the bills. According to Newsweek, after a night of drinking, the pair went to Gutierrez’s San Antonio house, and she got belligerent. The argument quickly became violent as Gutierrez took a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed the 42-year-old victim.
According to the arrest affidavit, the victim was stabbed in the neck, right hand, left hand, and back before fleeing the house. Authorities stated he was profusely bleeding and had left a trail of blood leading to Gutierrez’s flat. His identity was not released, and he was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition by EMTs. On Tuesday, Gutierrez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Following the case’s virality, social media users insulted the victim, saying he’ll start paying his bills after surviving the stabbing.
