Usher is back with more inspiring music with “I Cry,” despite having just released a song for NBC’s Songland. The killing of George Floyd and his two boys inspired the song, as the country battles for social justice and against police brutality. The major message is that it’s alright to cry out because of the trauma they’ve endured, especially males, who aren’t generally as vulnerable.
