You’ve probably never heard of SPIRITSAVER, yet the duo is poised to take over. Norman Perry (from Connecticut) and Zale (from Toronto) have created a group and released their first single, “Ocean Drive,” together. The end product is a melancholy mid-tempo R&B track with considerable flavor, especially if you like that Canadian vibe. The two are working on a project and have worked with some big names, so expect some surprises.

The following is what the band had to say about the new song:

“This is a song about the battle between monogamy and temptation. Sometimes you gotta choose between your dreams and a lover. But why can’t we have both and still keep the faith? This song was inspired by real events, it’s our first release ever as SPIRITSAVER. We can’t fucking wait to flood our music into the universe.”
