Lawd! Get involved, socialites! A Southwest Airlines customer was recently arrested after attempting to open the plane door while in flight, claiming that “Jesus instructed me to open it.” The woman is charged with assault within maritime and territorial jurisdiction, as well as interference with aircraft crew members and attendants.

She even bit a fellow traveler who tried to stop her throughout the event! The suspect told the woman she bit that “Jesus instructed her to fly to Ohio, and Jesus told her to open the plane door,” according to the complaint.

Southwest Airlines Flight 192, which was travelling from Houston, Texas to Columbus, Ohio, was forced to make an emergency landing in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, November 26.

This is all because a 34-year-old lady called Elom Agbegninou attempted to pull the handle of the rear door escape during the flight.

Flight attendants claim Agbegninou proceeded to the back of the cabin and simply “stared” at the departure door while the plane was flying at 37,000 feet.

They claim she then asked many crew members if she may look out one of the windows in the flight attendant’s jumpseat. When she was told no by several personnel, she allegedly assaulted one of them and began yanking on the exit door handle before being detained.

During the altercation, Agbegninou bit another passenger who attempted to assist in her restraint. According to court filings, the passenger overheard someone say, “She’s trying to open the door.”

As a result, she dashed to the back of the jet and pinned Agbegninou to the ground. The suspect then bit her on the thigh and held on until flight attendants “moved their fingers up to [her] chin in an attempt to get [her] to release the bite, which she eventually did.”

Agbegninou was promptly apprehended by local law enforcement after the jet made an emergency landing at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock.

However, the female passenger who had been bitten in the leg by Agbegninou was transported to a nearby hospital and treated. According to reports, she now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety as a result of the occurrence.
