South African singer Tyla nominated for the 66th Grammy Award

Tyla Laura Seethal is nominated for her first Grammy.

Along with four other musicians, the singer is nominated for Best African Music Performance.

Tyla’s blockbuster song “Water” from 2023 earned her a prestigious nomination.

The star alongside Musa Keys is the only South African singer nominated in the aforementioned category as the other musicians nominated are Nigerians.

Asake and Olamide scored a nod with the song Amapiano, Burna Boy with City Boys, Davido and Musa Keys with Unavailable, Ayra Star with Rush.
