If you’re unfamiliar with the film Cut Throat City, RZA and Ghostface Killah are here to educate you. The six-track soundtrack was produced by Wu-Tang Clan’s producer, and “Fight For Equality” will be included. It has that classic Wu flavor to it, and both are coming at you hard.

Ethan Hawke, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Denzel Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Wesley Snipes, Shameik Moore, Terrence Howard, and others star in the RZA-directed film. It will be available digitally on Friday, August 21.

RZA had this to say about the song:

“The song was inspired by what the four heroes of the film have to tread through in order to get their bearings in an unjust system. A system splattered with inequalities and corruption. Although the film is set in 2005 with Hurricane Katrina as a backdrop, we find ourselves in 2020 in a similar political and social landscape.”
