Robin Thicke has shared the opening tune from his upcoming album On Earth and in Heaven. “Lucky Star” is a song dedicated to his late father Alan Thicke and Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell, with inspiration from some of his heroes. The track’s release also prompted a personal post on Instagram about who his lucky stars are.

Thicke said in a throwback post from the set of Growing Pains that the song is the last he recorded and the first on the album.
