Former Paralympic athlete, Oscar Pistorius is expected to be released from prison on Friday.
On Valentine’s Day in 2013, the actor shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Oscar will be released this Friday, according to MDN News, after being granted parole nearly 11 years after killing his girlfriend.
The report elicited responses, with the majority expressing sympathy for Reeva, whose life was cut short and she was never given a second chance.
“He served his time however the Steenkamps lost Reeva forever. This life thing is not to make sure,” a tweep wrote.
“Everyone deserves a second chance. I hope he will make an athletic comeback,” another wrote.
“About time. Out of all the murder cases I’ve watched, Oscar was the most remorseful killer,” the tweet reads.
