El Michels Affair and Black Thought reunite for “Grateful,” the first track from their upcoming joint album Glorious Game, which will be released on April 14.

The iconic Philly MC glides over the jazzy beat with his sophisticated bars and fulfilling delivery over the New York-based cinematic soul production trio led by Leon Michels.

“Ay, yo, one for the will of man, two for the kilogram, three for the cold killer who can still be a millionaire / Filling the icy air, enormous plates and cutlery / Where everyone eats except the one who was badly prepared,” Thought raps.

The combined endeavor will be Black Thought’s first project since Danger Mouse’s Cheat Codes LP last year.
