Eighty8 effortlessly transitions from harsh bars to a chantable chorus. The song highlights his dynamic and varied sound, fusing hip-hop and R&B vibes with style and substance.

The Miami native channels his Jamaican and Haitian ancestors to create a surprising and undeniable mash-up of R&B, hip-hop, pop, and tropical influences. He discovered he could sing when he was three years old and spent hours replaying an old Michael Jackson VHS as he compulsively studied the King of Pop.

After years of hard work, he gained the attention of Balistic Beats and released the single “Pree.” The song was played on local radio and received 1.6 million Spotify streams. On the heels of it, he kept the trend going with “Trilly Wonka,” earning another 561K Spotify streams. Cash Money Records signed him in 2020 after hearing his music.
